Red, white and blue can. Center section is blue with a small image of a tennis ball in white, and white text “tennis balls”. “FOR HARD & GRASS COURTS” in white text around top blue section. On white area – “Sportsmen Say SPALDING Ever Since 1876”. Lower white area has text: “APPROVED BY UNITED STATES LAWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION” and in slightly smaller text: “BRITISH L.T.A., CANADIAN L.T.A., AUSTRALIAN L.T.A.M FRENCH L.T.A., INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION”.
