Made in China, the Type 16 can is metal with a flat recessed lid. It is the tallest of the key-wind cans, being slightly taller than the Type 3 English cans. There is a reversed (indented) bead around the top, and although this can is opened by the removal of the key wind strip. The only key I’ve ever found on one of these cans was crimped onto the top like the many of the American Type 5 cans were.
