Green and yellow can with white oval area at top. “Slazenger” is written in the white area. Center of can is banded in yellow with black text “TENNIS BALLS”. Other text on can: “Made Entirely In England”, “Used at The Championships Wimbledon since 1902”, “For hard or grass courts”. Yellow paper label around top reads “Now NYLON-ARMOURED for more HARD play” Red paper label around bottom reads “BECAUSE THE CLOTH WEARS ROUGH IN GIVES MORE NEW-BALL SETS”. Note: Slazenger introduced Nylon Armoured in 1954.
