The Pennsylvania Rubber Company was founded by Herbert DuPay in Erie, Pennsylvania. Its industry is tennis balls and its headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona (formerly Jeannette, Pennsylvania). It was purchased by the General Tire & Rubber Company in 1945. It was acquired by HEAD, Inc. in 1999.
Since the name and logo Pennsylvania has continued to be used during various company name changes and I don’t have the means to check every single can ever made, I have decided to classify all examples of their containers as Pennsylvania Rubber Company.
