Metal can painted tan. All text is printed sideways. “THE SLAZENGER” “HARD COURT” “LAWN TENNIS BALL”. Can has patent no. 103442 July 27th 1916. There is a paper label around the bottom of the can that states: “Selected for… THE CHAMPIONSHIPS WIMBLEDON 1946”.
